Share a route map without an account

One map in, one link out

Open GeoRoute.dev and search for the area where your route begins. Click or tap the map in travel order. Each point gets its number from its place in the route, and the line updates as you go. When the route looks right, choose Share.

On a phone, GeoRoute can open the device's familiar share sheet when the browser supports it. On desktop, Share copies the link to your clipboard. Either way, the editable map stays open so you can keep working without losing your place.

What the other person sees

The shared link opens the route on a clean, read-only map. The numbered points and connecting line appear in the same order, and the map fits the route automatically. The recipient can pan and zoom, but cannot move your points, add new ones, or overwrite the route.

That makes a GeoRoute link useful for meetup walks, race-day paths, event entrances, scenic drives, trail outlines, volunteer routes, and any quick plan that is easier to understand on a map than in a text message.

No account also means no route dashboard

GeoRoute does not create a profile or keep a personal history of your routes. Keep the link somewhere you control if you will need it later. Creating a revised route produces a new link; it does not silently change a link you already sent.

Anyone who has a shared link can view its route, so treat it like any other unlisted link. Do not use it for private home locations, sensitive travel plans, or information that needs access controls. The privacy page explains the small amount of route data needed to make short links work.
